TCJ My-Stock DB Graphs TCJ My-Stock DB creates two types of graphs: pie and bar charts. The default type is the pie graph. To choose bar instead, check the “Bar Graph” check box in the “Appearance” section of the graph options panel, which includes setting the color for both the graph and its background, and whether to show or hide the legend.
The “Data” section includes which key variable to display (brand, vendor, location, status) and which aspect to display: the quantity or the value of the parts.
3D Graphs The 3D options are quite a bit more rich. The first option is Should the graph will be displayed in 2D or 3D? Obviously, none of the 3D options are available when the graph is displayed in only two dimensions.
If the “Restrict to Orthogonal” checkbox is checked, the 3D presentation will be limited to right angles. If unchecked, this restriction no longer applies and the graph can be turned and rotated freely (bar graphs have more range of movement than pie charts).
Printing Graphs Graphs can be printed. Press the “Print Preview...” button to bring a preview screen that allows setting up print margins and printer setup.
Saving Graphs Graphs can be saved to the clipboard or to the hard drive as an image file: BMP, EMF, and WMF. The Windows’ metafile format, EMF or WMF, is not only smaller in size, but retains a higher resolution image over that saved in the Windows’ bitmap format. |
